Event - Improve Your Interviewing Skills
Come meet experienced recruiters and hiring professionals for the opportunity to practice and ask questions about relevant topics that come up during interviews. This is a great chance to build relationships and learn how to address specific areas of your resume, such as job experience and any pertinent time off between jobs.
You will connect with skilled hiring managers and staffing professionals for an opportunity to discuss a variety of topics that may come up specific to your situation. Each host of a “table” will have a designated topic and you will get the chance to practice as well as hear how others answer difficult questions during an interview.
Topics of conversation include how best to answer the general “tell me about yourself”, situational and behavioral questions, addressing gaps in your career, transitioning to a Project
Manager role from another career, how to address multiple short term job experiences and more.
The event is FREE for all members and $5 for non-members. This meeting will be held through Zoom. PMI members can self-report 2 PDUs: 1 PDU for Leadership and 1 PDU for Business/Strategy. Space is limited.
