Amanda Zimmerman is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and consults for Beautiful Opportunities based in Portland, OR. She holds a Global MBA from Imperial College of London and is a certified ScrumMaster. Amanda has completed Lean and Six Sigma projects in Angola, Europe, Antarctica, and the US. While her career has focused on maintenance and reliability, she has also worked in the Software, Education, Oil and Gas, and Optics Industries. David Whitlock moved to Portland at the turn of the century to hack on the Java Virtual Machine. He enjoyed the challenge of working with complex software systems, but quickly discovered that the complexity of working with people offers an even more exciting challenge. David has been a student of Agile and Lean principles and practices for many years and looks forward to engaging others in conversations to help understand what we know, what matters, and what we do next. By day, he leads up the Agility Enablement Team at Tripwire, Inc. and co-facilitates Portland PMI's monthly "Agile PM Roundtable." By night, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Portland State University. David likes watching things grow, whether they are teams, companies, students, family, or the vegetables in his garden.
Maria Grzanka is a continuous improvement facilitator, instructor, and coach in Portland, OR. She teaches Process Improvement at Portland State University's Center for Executive and Professional Education and volunteers as a co-organizer and open space facilitator with Lean Portland and Future of Work Portland.
