How to Coach for Creativity and Service Excellence: A Lean Coaching Workshop

PMI Portland is pleased to offer “How to Coach for Creativity and Service Excellence: A Lean Coaching Workshop,” presented by Karyn Ross, Founder and President of the Love and Kindness Project Foundation. The interactive workshop designed to give participants hands-on practice combining creativity, kindness and Lean principles to make a better world.

The session is set for Thursday, September 24, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on one of PMI Portland’s virtual platforms. Participants will leave with newfound confidence as well as tools and exercises you can use in your own
organization! The workshop is just $25 for PMI Portland Chapter members and student Chapter members ($40 for non-members), and attendees will earn three Leadership PDUs. A link to the event will be provided upon registration.

Key Learning Objectives


Through learning-by-doing, participants will practice the basics of:
1.  Lean in Services: No Customer ever wants to hear the words “I can’t”
2.  Creativity: Generating new and better ideas
3.  Coaching: Challenging and nurturing people to turn ideas into better ways to work

About the Presenter

Karyn Ross is the owner of KRC (Karyn Ross Consulting) and has published five books, including How to Coach for Creativity and Service Excellence: A Lean Coaching Workbook, Big Karma and Little Kosmo Help Each Other, and the Shingo Award-winning The Toyota Way to Service Excellence: Lean Transformation in Service Organizations.

An artist, internationally acclaimed speaker, author, consultant, coach and lean practitioner, Karyn is on a mission to help people improve the world. The Love and Kindness Project Foundation is a registered public charity fostering projects that spread love and kindness in the world. Proceeds from all books go directly to the Foundation.
