Keynote Session Title: The Diamond Layer

After a brief intermission, the PMI Portland Chapter is pleased to revive its monthly Chapter meetings! We kick off on September 15 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a session titled “The Diamond Layer,” featuring well-respected nuclear engineer-turned-change agent, April Mills.

The meeting features an hour with April, including time for Q&A, and will include elements of our regular business meetings such as announcements as well as opportunities for jobseekers to “pitch” their skills for job openings other participants may have.

April K. Mills is an international speaker, consultant and trainer focused on unleashing the change agent potential in all of us. She will provide tools and tactics to immediately harness the ever-increasing rates and energy of change. After starting her career as a civilian nuclear engineer on U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers, April followed her passion for change and launched Engine-for-Change, a successful blog and consulting company. She is currently writing her second book, “Change Tactics: What to Try When What You’ve Always Done Stops Working.”

This chapter meeting is being provided at no charge to our members via the Go To Webinar platform. If you want to invite a friend or co-worker feel free to share this registration link with them.

Due to volunteer limitations, this meeting is limited to one self-reported Leadership PDU, there will not be an Education hour at this meeting or a Networking Opportunity. The PDU code for reporting will be given after the main keynote presentation has completed.
