It's Never Just the Business -- It's About the People
The Not-So-Subtle Art of Getting S**t Done
April 30, 2020
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
We are excited to be able to reschedule this workshop as a virtual event! Log-in details will be provided upon registration.
No one hires a leader because they want their organization to be the same in six months or a year. Waterfall, Agile, Six Sigma, Lean, SAFe. Project managers are constantly in pursuit of the next great framework, yet find they routinely fail to deliver the promised transformational outcomes.
The secret is simple. The primary common denominator when these methodologies were used to successfully achieve transformational outcomes? Effective leaders. Yet great leaders are rare.
Leadership is about change, and change is fundamentally about people. If we were to distill the success criteria of a leader down to one sentence, it would be “they enable their team to get done the s**t that enables the achievement of shared objectives.”
J. Scott, founder of 120VC, leads this workshop which blends purpose-built, people-centric process with easy-to-execute leadership techniques that have been proven to drive transformational outcomes for Fortune 50 companies.
If you are a project, program, portfolio, product, scrum or change manager, you were hired to achieve stellar results and enable teams to get stuff done. That means changing things. Join PMI Portland Chapter and J. Scott at this workshop to bolster your skills in driving transformational change in your organization.
