Mitigating Cognitive Biases in Projects with Candor

Behavioral project management (BPM) works with, what is known in behavioral economics as, cognitive biases to improve adaptive performance in projects. Candor has the ability to mitigate several cognitive biases such at courtesy bias, authority bias, optimism and pessimism biases. In this session, we will explore how these biases work against us on a project and how to use candor to mitigate them as team members and leaders.
