Keynote Presentation

Jessica Williams, founder of the Superwoman Project, will be next month’s chapter meeting keynote speaker. Her organization works with individuals, nonprofits, and corporations to advance professional development of strong female leadership.

The keynote address is not just for women, though. In her inspirational session, Jessica will offer plenty of advice for all new or transitioning professionals, including how to stand out in a crowded marketplace, how to position yourself online and off, and what you can do to thrive in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous economy.

The November PMI-Portland Chapter meeting is set for Nov. 13 (one week early due to Thanksgiving holiday) at the Lloyd Center Doubletree hotel. Polish Your Career Portfolio at November’s Chapter Meeting Education Session

Are you looking for a new job? Need to bolster your personal career brand? On November 13, PMI-Portland Chapter will bring together a variety of career strategists and service experts to help members hit the bullseye on their next career target.

In place of the education session, we’ll offer folks the opportunity to get a free, updated LinkedIn professional headshot and attend a resume review session. A speed networking event will provide participants with the chance to chat briefly about how to navigate the job market with such local recruiters as Vanderhouwen, the FBI, and more.

There will be a drawing for six lucky attendees to have their resumes professional reviewed (worth $100).
